Popo thinks it was not good. Food was so-so. Service was just bad. Popo not like. Popo would like moar rice next time. And better service..PLEASE!
Very poor service and old perished food. They served us some samosas that were gone bad. Will Never go there again.
Food is astounding, haven't tried the buffet but want to. Prices are low considering the great quality! I plan on coming back whenever I feel like Indian.
not the same ...maybe it's a new cook/chef
The two times I have gotten food from this restaurant is has been spicey, perfectly cooked and delicious. The naan was perhaps a little moist, but I would be nit picking an otherwise exceptional meal. The staff was attentive and nice, and while the atmosphere doesn't scream high class it is a comfortable, reasonably clean restaurant. Overall, this is my new favorite Indian restaurant in the Spring/Woodlands area, and I would highly recommend you not miss it.
This is our go to place in The Woodlands. I don't love it like I do downtown restaurants, but it will do when I can't travel in. It is definitely is the best in the area. We always get it to go though, so I don't have to worry about a lack of service.
Lunch buffet is fine for an easy stop and I haven't been there during lunch when the restaurant is full, so it's a good place for a conversation. Dinner menu has much variety, cooked well. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The buffet seems to be better on some days than others, but this place is generally pretty good. You have got to try the sambar! And if they happen to have lamb, then by all means go for it!
I liked the food and customer service. their Paneer tikka is amazing. that taste really keep you tempting. typical Punjabi Rasoi
Outstanding lunch place and conveniently located right off of Sawdust
I have eaten Indian food hundreds of times at many restaurants and other places, and this restaurant was among my least favorite. The food was quite tasteless and bland and the warmer didn't keep the food warm. The service wasn't great either. They forgot to bring my iced tea and didn't get my husband's drink order at all. We won't be returning.
awesome
They've changed hands and no longer have a buffet at dinner time. Food is still good. I had the butter chicken but the rice had peas and carrots in it that look like the ones you find frozen. And I dot remember Indian rice containing those veggies. And the service could be a lot better. I ordered about 15 minutes before another couple came in but they we served a good 5 before I ever got my food which makes no sense. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back. There are very few good Indian restaurants around here.
